With a few conversations I've had with various guitarists, I've come to realise that not everyone knows about theses 2 companies: www.helwegpedalboards.com and www.salvagecustom.com
What you guys think of the prices?
And what would you be willing to pay if ...someone... Where to build them locally.

Those look so great, but I am more of a DIY kind of guy and would rather make a less-than-pro board, but have the satisfaction of having something that I have built myself under my feet. If I was less technically inclined at this point I would be willing to put up R800 for a board and more if it had that cool built in tuner! Haven't really been in the market for a board though, so I have no idea what boards cost at the moment.

They are both great, but I think there's a limited market for them locally - a few a year maybe.
Still, they could work as part of a wider, boutique product range including amps, cabs and pedalboards...
