I have to give these guys another shout out as I popped in to pick up a set of strings for my acoustic and ended up leaving with a rockcase hardcase for my AR artist. He dropped off R100 more than Music Mate could give me for a Stagg case.

I've overlooked this guy a lot of times, but he's always got time to talk and to answer a slew of questions. I guess that I have found my new local.

yep he's my 'local" too i live close by , and a few mornings a week after walking my dog at the park( up the road) i stop in for a tea and chat , my dog gets a bowl of water or milk too ?.... , and invariably buy constantly from him,

a great store to find some good 2nd hand gear , and price wise he is very fair and normally negotiable....... it's still a mom and pop store literally .... his wife and son help him out .....

stock is constantly changing ...as in the 2nd hand stock... and if you lucky you pick up some gems ....

and btw louis himself is a handy bassist , who has worked with some famous afrikaans boeremusiek artist.... and has a few cd's out with him on it ....

and above all he's a really nice guy who offers good prices ..what more do you want

Louis held a guitar for me on my word alone because i was away on business

And after getting many a counter offer, still sold me the geet at theagreed price. Great price on his strings too

That was half the reason I asked him about a LP case for my artist. I picked up a set of strings for the LTD and a set of Magma bronze strings for the AEL for R120.

Sounds more than fair in my books.

Many thanks again. Louis called me to let me know that the rockcase that I wanted wasn't availible, but he'll give me a smoking deal on a Santa Fe case, so off came another R200. I couldn't even come close to making one for the price that he sold me this one for.

Perfect fit for my AR, very nice sturdy case. Now I just need one for my explorer as well as my warlock and acoustic and I'll be sorted......lol.
