Werner-Carstens Hi Andrew, thanks for enquiring. I actually fitted Kinmans as well, but the Woodstock Plus set. I had a Fender bone nut fitted and also replaced the original steel saddles with Graphtec ones. I sanded off the sticky finish at the back of the neck to make it smoother and it really opened up the sound - it doesn't look very cool but it plays and sounds much better. I also made some wiring modifications. My second tone pot works on the bridge pickup and not the middle one and my next mod will be to combine my bridge and neck pick-ups when my 5-way selector is in the middle position - I never use the middle pick-up in isolation.
