The latest challenge from evo
Write something that could easily be used in the "Sons of Anarchy" series. Judging from the soundtrack it can be pretty much anything. Solo guitar, Full band instrumental, Full band with voice... its all up to you how you want it to be done. With the mods permission, I'd like to have it at a maximum of 3 minutes, minimum of 1 minute.
Closing date is midnight Mon 27 May 2013

Will have to research the show a bit before submitting anything, can't say I had heard of the show before now - initial web search on songs used seems to indicate just about anything could do as long as there is a bit of an "edge" to it?
The show is about a biker "club". Classic-style rock mostly.
Possibly an edge... Black Keys is one of the bands featured. The title track of the show is "This life" by Curtis Stigers - another one of his songs featured is "John the Revelator"... Both frikkin brilliant pieces of music

There's also an acoustic solo guitar version of CCR's "Fortunate son". So this challenge is completely open to anything - within the context of the show of course. So yeah, boeremusiek won't come close.
Also haven't watched the show before. But Biker Rock...... hmmm, yeah, that sounds like something I can have a go at 8)
Thanks for the references Evo and Alan
Alan - already found the Wikipeadia entry ?
Some nice songs there but some of the newer ones I do not recognise by name alone
Ok. Mines more of a soundtrack than a song. It's just me on double tracked electric.
I can visualise some kind of a showdown, Cowboy style between two cops and two groups of bikers perhaps from different gangs. Cops back to back hands hanging above holsters while the bikers move in a circular fashion around them, slowly. Either downtown ghetto big city at night or desert highway sun blazing mid day.
