Hi
I have a Zoom G7.1 ut guitar effects pedal that I record through.
I have set it up so that I can record my vocals through it aswell. It works way better than the Toneport UX1 I have.
The only problem is when I plug the effects pedal into the pc through usb. It picks up noise. coming from the pc I presume.
Moving my mouse around also makes the noise change pitch etc. I don't know If the noise will also be present when I record sound.
as soon as I remove the usb jack the sound on my headphones are crystal clear.
My headphones are plugged into the pedal jack ?
If any of you have similiar problems or known causes or fixes. lemme know please ..
thank you.

Sounds like you have an earth loop with the USB connected. Do you still have the audio cables connecting the G7.1 to the PC? Disconnect those...
If the PC is a laptop it might be the switch-mode power supply - try run on battery. If that works and you want to run on mains, you may need to lift the earth to the mains (obligatory warning - lifting mains earth can be dangerous in certain situations of not done properly).
