Alrighty - does anybody know anything about a Cort Stellar?

I have the opportunity to get one dirt cheap - was thinking to get it to practice pup-swopping and modding on. Will be my first electric, but I plan to get a "real" one in about June. Thinking to mod it and give to my 7 year old son. Then he does not have to play with my more expensive guit when I finally get it...

Would be great if it plays reasonable well of course ?

I can't find a lot of info on the net - seems like it has a solid Alder body, which should be pretty cool...
I owned one YEARS ago. I really loved it back then, but can't quite remember it and didn't really know what I was looking for at that stage of my playing.

It may even be the same one ? I haven't seen one since and hadn't seen one before. It was red if I recall.

This is a black one with some chips on the body apparently, will get pics later too see how bad it is.
Pretty good guitars - in fact some were very good. AKA the "S" series. Were replaced by the G series, which were very similar. There were a few different models, with different woods, etc., so find out as much as you can about it and do a search on the model.
