She's arriving tomorrow

When in the UK last July, I met her quite unexpectedly.....in a store in Bath. Did not pay much attention to her at first but when a guy there literally put her in my arms to cuddle, I fell in love with this beauty ?....an exceptional example of her specie. But she was out of my league...way out. I mean a small town guy like me do not mix with such nobility.

As time went by I just could not forget her and had to have her......so 'n boer maak 'n plan.....I sold a few items...actually quite a few.....and called the pimp in Bath....I want her and I want her now !......here's your money....get her here my good man.

So after waiting many months to see and touch her again, I will meet her at Cape Town International tomorrow afternoon..... and I will post pics of my lovely as soon as our honeymoon night is over.

A Gibson Super 400 CES . The serial number dates it to 1970-2. There is no neck volute which dates her close to 1969 if I'm not mistaken. A biiig, full sounding archtop. This guitar has a huge body. Solid woods throughout....spruce and maple.... and ebony fingerboard. Sooo glad she arrived in one piece. Oh yes her name is Sandy ?
