Turns out that attachments stopped working somewhere along the line. I thought there was just an issue with files guys were trying to upload but I tested it myself and something definitely seems to be wonky.
Anyhoo, instead of battling to fix it, I've disabled new attachments from now on. In the future, to show us images of your gear, you'll need to host those pics on Flickr.com, PhotoBucket.com, Picasa.com or one of the other free sites. PhotoBucket.com is great because it gives you the code you can use to display your images in a forum, so I'd recommend them, personally.
All the old attachments should work fine, no issues there.
