There are some new rules to our weekly challenge. 1. Entries are divided into 2 categories (beginner and advanced) 2. Recordings cannot have more than 4 tracks (instruments) 3. The recording must be no longer than sixty seconds 4. Originals only no covers This weeks challenge was HEAVY. Yeah, this xmas, ask for GAS money!! So you can buy a Micro BR, or a Korg PX5D, or a Soundtech Lightsnake cable, or an external M-Audio (?) soundcard or SOMETHING to record yourself with.

Don't ask questions, just do it. Nothing has had a greater impact on my playing this year than 1) recording and 2) entering these challenges! Do it, okay, just do it ?

but I'll say this, i had fun just quickly slapping something together on the spur of the moment. learnt something in the process too, mission accomplished.

With the vote going 8 to 3 on your favour I am clearly not the only one who thinks so!!

For me these challenges means a great deal as it motivates me to actually do something. Without some kick in the backside I just waste hours.

haha,no worries.....i got my PC based recording gear,think it's wise to first get all my playing gear before i get my recording stuff ?
