From here it looks like the real deal. And there's not many factories knocking out cheap Maingard imitations.
Worth going to check out.
People don't always know what they've got. I recall a Maingard classical, with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides that ended up at McGibbon's. It had been converted into an ornament with an incandescent electric lamp in the soundhole. Totally ruined.
Whatever it is, it's not in perfect condition. Take a good look.
And the case is not original.
