Looks wonderful Dean!
I haven't owned a guitar with a floyd Rose before but the ones I've felt do NOT come close to the Kahler!
Agreed - I always preferred the tone and feel of the Kahlers. Unfortunately when the two were battling it out for dominance, the Kahler didn't always return 100% to zero and had an iffy locking nut, so the Floyds won out. Kahler sorted things out with their trems, but by then everyone was licensing the Floyd design. Now Kahler still make their own trems of good quality stainless while Floyds it depends on the specific manufacturer (and most are casting them), so Kahler are making a comeback (yay!).
The difference isn't as big with the 707's as it is with the 81/85's though.
That makes sense (the lower tuning would need the circuit to have more headroom, even at 9V) - nice to have it confirmed though.
Just have to do the fret markers (top only) logo and final neck setup.
You mean the side dots? With no face dots? Nice...
