  • Current Doubler Cable in SA?

Hey guys!

I am looking for a Current Doubler Cable (NOT a voltage doubler) for my BBE Supacharger.

Here are some links to the type of cable I'm looking for:

My question is, where would I be able to get one of these in SA?

It's really a last resort to order a single cable from overseas ?

I don't know, but suspect you'll be lucky to find one locally. Still... easy enough to make - a current doubler will just take two outputs and parallel them (- joined to - and + to +).
Shucks, I'm terrible with electronic stuff like that, so a DIY would be very challenging to say the least ?

Any idea who I could contact to make one for me?
Anyone who knows which end of a soldering iron gets hot can do it. Three plugs, two wires...
Haha, now I feel even more useless ?
I got the green T-Rex current doubler posted to me from Marshall Music Cape Town a couple of years ago. Give them a call and see if they have stock: 021 426 6325
            Ask for Graham or Matt.
I just use a 2 output daisy chain Y-splitter and plugged it in reverse to power my Timeline off a Supacharger (i.e. the "outputs" go into 2 of the inputs and the other end goes into the pedal). I bought this one:

              http://www.amazon.com/Godlyke-Power-All-C-Y-Electric-Splitter/dp/B006MH0E2Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354188001&sr=8-1&keywords=%22Godlyke+Power-All+C-Y+Electric+Guitar+Cable-Y+Splitter+Cable%22

I'm sure just about any music store locally will have an equivalent.
