Norman86 The neck has a 10" fretboard, and stewmac 0152 medium/high frets! neck profile will be worked on this weekend! looking to get something between a 52 tele boat profile, and a 59 roundback profile!

Norman86 neck starting to take shape... 8) my machine heads and nut have finally arrived.. so its getting closer! ? pity i wont have it in time for christmas though ☹
Norman86 got the tuners and the nut.. eventually.. ordered 2 days after my other stuff, arrives 2 weeks after the other stuff. flip.. anyways, the gold anodizing looks great, pretty sure its a close match for the bridge! its really nice! tomorrow, the neck and maybe the body start transforming into the colours! getting there!

Norman86 the top got some colour today 8) cant quite capture it though... then it got overcast and the photos i took just didnt look right.. will wait for wayne to send me some that i can post one!
Norman86 no matter what we try, we just cannot capture the colour correctly! save for a professional photo shoot! anywho.. the top in all its glory, kind of! its not complete, still needs its blood red burst! and my headstock logo complete
Norman86 Now i must just say, Wayne, Neongecko, is extremely accommodating! we sat for at least an hour to get the headstock logo to the point where i was 100% happy! and with regards to the colour, i had full control! which was awesome! really cool being able to have so much input! the neck is also almost finished.. should be getting tint next week, along with the burst and back of the Zenith! 8)
racman Looking great Norm. I actually like the color even without the burst and the difficulty with photographing it. That grain is really going to "pop" when final finsihing is done!

chris77 My initial reaction is to not even bother with the burst. That looks great as it is already! :applause: But remembering what a great job Neon did on RoyC's Logan tele, I am sure the burst will be even better looking. Bet you can't wait anymore huh.... ? Sure looks like the wait will be worth it though!
