So far, i also know the pickup cavity has been shielded...
              It moves closer still... ?
i also have another vice :-[
Its admiring the other warmoth bodies...
if i could bring another one... i would SO choose this too:

but alas, being cash strapped doesnt get you another guitar!
and i have yet to get the current one! lol
It is a very nice body that's for sure !!! I think I have the same vice as you as I'm allways admiring guitar bodies. Particularly flame top ones...
Have you thought about getting one that is not routed to take a pickguard and you don't end up hiding the nice top ?
One things for certain, this guitar will hold the world record for the slowest built guitar in history...at this rate it will be 'Vintage" before it's finished. ?

At least it will be a good vintage then.

But what is the switch for?
Thanks ? It's a neck on switch. to enable all 3 pickups on, or bridge and neck on!

                        Almost there... 8)

I think its looking pretty damn fine at the moment ?
                          Hiya Norman86,

One of the best mods to a Strat entails getting as many pickup options as possible AND a master tone - this, IMO, adds so much value to the rear pickup. Winding up the treble on a TS and cutting it on the guitar gives you some great tones. I am not fond on drilling and mounting two way switches. I am (always harping on about it) keener on using a three way switch, wiring it it like a Tele, using the first tone control as a volume control for the center pickup so that you can bring it in and out and mix it as you wish and using the second tone control as a master tone. This gives you a nice, tidy pick guard and some serious tonal variety. There were a great many L-series and pre-L series Strats in Zim that had been abused by the fitting of two way switches to their mint green pick guards by some one trying to hot rod them in the sixties. ☹

You have a beautiful guitar there - lovely wood and a very nice looking bridge.
                            hey chebanda!

The wiring is done modern style, volume, tone (neck), tone (middle and bridge).. and the switch is neck on in bridge and bridge/middle positions.

my current strat is wired like that, bar for the neck on switch, and i like the way it sounds ?

                              +1

Marvin's strat was wired like that I hear.
i have her in my grubby paws... holy crap..
she sounds fantastic! single coil hum? nope.. not with the shielding done to the pickguard and cavity!

im SO stoked! Thanks Costa (Costafonix) for the awesome setup on her!
yes, it took a while, but perfection takes time!
Thanks for going out of your way to make this my perfect axe ?
