Ishibashi is Japan's biggest instrument retail chain, I believe. Their used stuff ships internationally and, with a 15% discount this Sat and Sun, that'll more or less pay for shipping on some items.

An astonishing range, as usual.
Hey Singemonkey have you ever ordered from Ishibashi? Any Problems?

    Has anyone else?

... but prices are not that great, imho :'(
I suppose it depends what you're looking at. Some are excellent. All of them need to be considered in light of shipping costs though.
A Gibbo LP Special SC for 6k5? An Electro Harmonix 2880 for 6k? A G&L ASAT for 8K? A Rickenbacker 350 for 23K? A Martin D-28 for 20K? No, not all that great, even excluding shipping. Can get any one of those cheaper at Marktplaats. May have to wait a couple of weeks for some to pop up, but they do.
A 56 Reissue Les Paul for R18,000? Try find that on gumtree. There are lots of great deals here. They get even better when you start looking at Japanese instruments which aren't generally even available here. MIJ Fenders galore, for example.

The prices on some of those items are great, like that Goldtop for R18k, (that's about half price). Shipping from Japan will not be less than R3k per guitar though, for that Gibson RI its still a steal, it depends on the exact deal I guess.
