not sure if this should be under the bass section...but here goes
So I got a call last week to join in on a few songs on Bass in a acoustic setting.. had 3 days to get the songs down no prob.. so when I got there I found that most were done in another key.. mmmm okay so this is new to me, to make a key change there and then..the most dificult was autumn leaves.. but I managed and I had a ball of a time on stage and so did the other members,we had an instant click and the vibe was awsome, infact it went so well, I'm going to their rehearsal room tonight to run through the complete setlist and will be part of the band on the next gig..
So yes, I am bragging and I feel good! ? I still have a long way to go though
just feel that I need to share it..

Unfortunatley I did not play with my Upright here, but with a 5 string electric..
I used the upright yesterday and would have naild those songs with it though, I will try to introduce the upright after a few gigs, or at least in the last set, most definitely on autumn leaves, summertime and fly me to the moon, the rest of the songs are beatles, pink floyed, simon & garfunkle etc and a few newer songs, but the upright sound fits in every where IMHO ?
