that is one amazing find. my grandparents used to spend a large amount of time on union castle ships. this brings back memories - even for me. you go ahead and have a blast on that beautiful instrument.

W on one of the Union Castle stickers on the case...maybe he/she was on the Windsor Castle which regularly visited from the UK,..... until about 1970
yip. that sounds about right - i even remember going to see the liners -way back when- at the durban harbour when that stuff was still allowed. regardless, you have a beautiful find there, enjoy every second.
