Came across someone selling a "vintage 'piggy'" amp on a classified ad and I thought I'd throw it out here before testing it out. Does anyone know what it actually is / if it's worth buying?

Deal ? I figure I don't have much to lose by taking a chance. I should stop borrowing money out of the gear fund now... ?
Google "Pignose" - pretty cool little solid-state portable practice amps.

Apparently these are different from the Pignose amps. The only thing I can find was that they were made by Guyatone - a Japanese company.

I'm still waiting for a response. I'm really eager to try it out. Although if I don't hear from him I'll budget the money towards something else gear related just to give myself an excuse to spend again. ???
I haven't heard anything from him yet. Maybe you should give him a call if you're still interested too. ?

It's a pity. Although at least I have an excuse to put the money towards a new guitar now. I'm thinking a Vintage V100AFD Paradise. Been checking it out for a while now.
