Yeah, was a great party! Rough, rough, rough as always! ? Which bands did you guys like ? Enter Shikari really impressed me live, but when I went onto Youtube it's really not my thing. Mainly because of the cheese vocals. Bullet were great, but did anyone else get the feeling sometimes they were lip synching? They did have backing tracks or harmonisers for the vocals and even some guitar parts. It was really well done. But it did seem a bit weird sometimes.
Didn't watch the Eagles of Death Metal though...
Lip synching? Back tracks? Fail.
Like I said, it seemed like it at first. But there was definately a harmoniser or backtrack involved for the backing vocals. Wanted to know if anyone else thinks the same.
I rate the main vocals were live though, considering that his pitch did slip now and then.
But yeah, good show. And I don't think that backing tracks/ harmonisers are all that bad. If you really wanna give the audience everything they hear on the CD, why not program some parts to make it sound more like the album if you can.
I guess it's a matter of style.
I also really, really, really enjoyed that French band. Circus something... Must actually get some of their stuff. Super super tight and energetic. And such awesome musicians! Kinda folk based rock with a brass wind section. Really really cool.
