Here we go again...

I said I was finished, promised the gods(and my mom) that I was done, and that my pedal board was perfect! Well, it just so happens that I want to change it up ?

I selling my Cusack pedal board tamer and buying a MIDI capable switching system to replace it. I have whittled it down to two options.

Number one:

I can get this: http://www.musicomlab.com/. It's small, easy to program and perfect for what I need. It can send PC's to the Timeline, Modfactor and Whammy that are currently residing on my board. Only downside is that I won't be able to send any more than 4 CC's, which is a bit of a bummer as it would be cool to have more MIDI control over the Timeline Looper and the Modfactor tap and fast/slow. Which brings us to competitor two...

Number two:

This: http://www.voodoolab.com/gcontrolpro.htm. I would pair this with two of these: http://www.voodoolab.com/switcher.htm. The advantage of this setup over the Musicomlabs is that I will have the control over the Timeline that I want, as well as being able to have instant access to the pedal loops on the pedal switchers. It will also be more versatile in that I don't always have to use the Ground Control with the pedal board - I can just use the two pedal switcher units. One disadvantage is that it is substantially larger than the Musicom unit, which would fit right on my board.

I am not keen on racking my setup. These two systems cost around about the same($750 for the Musicom and $800 for the GCP and Switchers). Another plus with the Voodoo labs units would be that i could order them from ProGuitarShop, with whom I have done some good business. And, they ship within a week and have regular specials!

Some advice would be greatly appreciated ?
An excellent example of what the GCP will be able to do with the Timeline=
wow! that sure floats my boat. I vote voodoo labs! ?
seriously that is awesome... goes off to play with his timefactor...
+1 for the Voodoo Labs. If the Musicom doesn't have all the features you want it won't make you happy in the long run.
          a month later
Oh WOW...somehow I managed to miss this demo vid... Lets just say now I want the timeline more than ever and I want a big expensive midi unit too ?
Sorry, this is probably a stupid Q, but would the Behringer FCB1010 or Roland's FC300 not work?

Both do not have loops but tip to sleeve switching jack sockets. Not going to easily control pedals.
