Got my Kemper Amp for about a week now and I'm still experimenting with everything.

But just incase anyone was wondering what these little space lunchboxes can do:

Check out these clips:

Nice! These things look and sound amazing, but I'm kind of curious as to how easy they are to use. Does it come with any "factory setting" profiles?

      As far as ease of use goes;
If you can use a GT-10 or a POD then you can use a Kemper..
If i may ask... How much did you pay for it..?
That's an impressive list. 8) Enjoy it man.
Congrats! What happened to your Axe-fx?
wow, looks and sounds great, congrats on the new toy.

Is the unit just a preamp, or does it have a power section?

Holy smokes that's a lot of amp profiles! This thing costs under R19,000 and it comes with all those?? That's really quite astonishing!
I sold the Axe - guess I just got the itch to try something new ?
Not that the axe was bad, I guess I was just very curious about the little space lunchbox.

It's a pretty simple box to use. 4 stomps in front, amp controls and a fifth stomp, mod, delay and reverb after.
Most controls have physical knobs so it's just like dialing in an amp.
                  Pretty intuitive really.
It's a preamp so you need something powered to plug into.

I'm enjoying it a lot though I won't make the mistake of saying it's the be all and end all cos we all know when it comes to digital modeling theres always a next 'big' thing.
Still, at this moment its the closest thing to actually owning all these cool amps and the quality of the sound is exceptional.
You really need to hear one in person.
Even a pair of monitors breath in a way I've never heard before - like a real tube amp does.

I'm really digging the stock AC30 profile and the JCM800 from the video I posted above.
There's also a really nice Two-Rock amp I got from somewhere (cant remember where)
I'm not sure I'll ever get through even the stock profiles.

Nice one Muhammad ? These preamps are awesomeand very well priced as well!
                      Lucky sod.
I'm still using the GNX4 with MFX supermodels.
Isn't it nice to just flick quality amps whenever you please?
I can see in the next few years of a futuristic GNXxx emerging somewhere.
And copy Kempers bringing the prices down.(and quality)
The best thing about it is that some weary eyed sound engineer, after spending 6hrs trying to get a specific sound,at 3.30am,finally nails it, and oops, bumps the mic,to accidently get an even better sound, with all sweaty masking tape around the mic.adding a bit of damping,a half empty bottle of Jack's on the cab for extra dynamics, and a full ashtray on the head for ambience, actually remembering to capture it on a Kemper, and getting around to share it online.
                      congrats
Congratulations with your new toy Muhammad, pretty awesome .......
                          Congrats,after all it,s all about the sound..tone...
Im sure youre gonna try the profiling capture capability it has by trying to copy your amp etc etc.
Will it capture a heavily chorused and delayed sound as is,or will it only store the sound as a dry amp signal?no fx?
And then you need to re apply the chorus and delay etc etc
How long does the sound need to be to capture it,5sec,30sec,a minute etc etc?
I havnt been able to get any answers off the Kemper forums for those questions.
                            thanks

                                Thats a great question;
Truth be told I have no idea!
I'm not planning on profiling anything yet - It seems its an acquired skill - so at the mo I'm happy to try out the rig exchange or plunk down a few bucks for a decent professionally done one.

Anyway how many amps does one need?
The three I listed previously fit pretty much every bill for me.

The only amp I'd take a shot at profiling is a real 64/65 AC30 TB with alnico blues - now to find someone who actually has one ?

Hows the axe working out for you?
I'm still waiting for clips ?

And how does it sound through your Focal's?
