only if 'the who' is wrong.
Indeed it is - but now (I think) I understand your thoughts re the juvenile companion!!! Remember, Pete said it was only research. ?
The answer I was looking for was
The Petshop Boys.
Neil Tennant was a highly regarded music journalist prior to forming the band (Marvel UK, Smash Hits). The reference to "
juvenile companion" I now see may have misled some. With "juvenile" I was referencing the "
Boys" in the band title. "Companion" to indicate they were a duo - Neil and a companion (ie Chris Lowe).
"
Eukaryotic metazoans": 'Animals are a major group of multicellular, eukaryotic organisms of the kingdom Animalia or Metazoa'.
Thus: did they really trade in animals; ie run a Petshop!
Hope it wasn't too cryptic!
