I was standing on side stage watching them in jhb, the sound was massive on stage but everyone tells me the sound was horrible in the crowd, sucks that a venue can't even get the sound right even for an international act
Russels pedal board was massive, running like a 1.5 meter board with more Fx pedals that I could count and prob about 10 guitars between them
Great guys tho, heavily jetlagged, they flew from LA to SA direct and flew out on Sunday again... mad props to the... they say they still living the dream ?

People were complaining about Daisies mainstage sound for the whole weekend.
In fact, at the past 3 RTD I've been to and played at, the mainstage sound has always been RUBBISH!
I heard from friends that Bloc Party was O.K. and was probably let down by the sound issues.
