Attention Metal Bands

I've recently started doing reviews for www.globaldomination.se a Swedish run site dedicated to all things metal. The writers come from all corners of the globe, covering everything from Tech Death to Stoner Doom, Hard Rock to Black Metal, bands from Europe to as far afield as Malaysia. Normally they require a physical copy of everything they review. If you need a back-slap-buddy review to boost your ego, its not the place for you!! If you want an honest opinion, look no further. I'm willing to do download reviews of 3 song demos for SA metal bands only as I can get to it. I'll need a one sheet in PDF format. Your MySpace or farcebook address will not be sufficient!! http://diymusician.cdbaby.com/2011/07/how-to-make-an-effective-bandartist-one-sheet/ If you want to have an album reviewed you'll still have to send to the offices in Sweden. http://www.globaldomination.se/info/

If we can only find a vocalist I would really love to post some stuff ☹ almost 2 years on the search :'( it's quite demotivating.

Hammeron

Nice!
You mention that the production is 'hollow' sounding.
I was listening to another great SA metal band last night, K.O.B.U.S - Swaarmetaal- great album. But it also sounds lacking on the production front when preceeded by Anthrax and followed by Testament on my ipod.
What is this?
I am reluctant to send you the Tamla Kahn stuff because I have exactly the same issue with it's production.

Hmm, hollow sounding, a great topic for a thread in the recording section!

Al right guys, time to sweeten the deal it seems.
We're doing a show on www.bakgatradio.co.za called "Headbangers Halfhour". Any stuff submitted to me will also be considered for the show.
But please, please, please. If you are not a metal band then please dont send me your stuff, rather send it to DJ Darren J at dirtyrock.bakgat@gmail.com
