Well a few have asked, so here's frankenhand in all his glory. Mods, feel free to pull them if you think that they are too graphic.
If you look at the first pic, you can see a little bump on the outside of the finger next to my thumb. The doctor reckons that if I would of pushed it 5mm more, it would of come out there.......grim. I'm told that the cut was smaller as he didn't want the scar to run all the way up to my finger, plus he wanted to keep the cut in my palms life line, so that you wouldn't really notice it...........hmp, so much for a cool scar.
Was at the physio yesterday and she confirms that there is no tendon/ muscle/ nerve damage. She prodded around for a good 45 minutes and was happy with the movement in my hand. She reckons that I can do anything that I did before including guitar straight away. So I did, played for a good 40 minutes last night and it felt good, only the cold did me in after a while. No aching on my hand this morning and as my job involves a lot of computer time, I was afraid that this was going to be an issue......no problem.

One last fact, I also learnt that in a hospital during feeding time, you can put a X2 or X3 next to your meal and they supersize it...............no lies.....lol..
