Tone, they're fine.. No discernible difference compared with regular strings, maybe just a tad less treble when played clean.. Whci I put down to the coating.

Strings themselves take getting used, they have a waxy feel to them and it feels like your fingers don't glide over the strings as smoothly as with uncoated strings..

My humble opinion, cool to look at but hardly worth the money..

I'll stick with my d addarios and rotosounds moving forward..

Thank you for input, Guido, thats the thing, im just so curious, i play at church and i was wondering if it would look good with the lighting system... ?

but youve had no problems with the coating peeling, fraying or anything like that? as some guys say on other reviews...

Yeah. I tried a coated DR string and hated them. They felt like old, grimy strings straight out of the packet. Coated strings don't HAVE to feel that way.

Right Bob, elixirs don't feel like that..

Tyron, I can't say I've had any issues with peeling.. I thought they may, but they didn't peel at all and stay bright for quite long..
They do look spectacular under lights ?
Just the feel is a bit strange..

hmmm, oh well, seeing as its my birthday soon, ill get a set and see what theyre like...thanks for the input guys
