What would be a good price to charge for guitar lessons?
I'm a pretty good teacher and a good guitarist. My styles are pretty middle-of-the-road, I don't really shred and stuff so I'll probably go for beginner to intermediate. Is a hundred bucks to much for an hour?

I'm not taking guitar lessons right now, but last time I was (2 years ago, maybe more) I was paying more than that. I'm taking vocal lessons at present at R120 per 45 minute lesson.

So I think that price would be towards the ...errrmmm.... 'reasonable' end of the spectrum.

          As yellow as 12x4.
Cool, I'm going to start with a hundred bucks and see how far I get. I wrote a book a while back, but I just need to revise a few things. I'll probably sell the book separately and make the first lesson free. It seems like the thing to do.

If you are committed to being a good teacher there is nothing wrong with asking the same or a little bit more than the people in your area. This will create the perception that you are a good teacher and it will make you deliver on that assumption.

Be sure to have a good lesson policy in place and you will be all set.
