Keira witherkay performs solo guitar jazz and world music at cafe belle sophia , no 232 18th ave, riviera, pretoria for bookings or directions 012 940 1650 no couvert charge but if you at a table they will expect you to eat or at least do coffee and cake , the venue is almost fully booked so call if you coming a long way , i perform from 12 - 3pm , a vibrant blend of instrumental jazz guitar and some flamenco and percussion , so cool archtop tones to pass the afternoon away with some great food btw the owner and chef berdina made it to 15 th place in final of sa master chef , one talented lady

So I decided to clandestinely smuggle myself and contingent into this restaurant to hear Keira again. The result being that I was reminded of how much coordination and sheer unadultrated musicality can be compressed into one human...jazz standards complete with walking bass lines on 1 guitar...Spanish rhythms that even forces the kitchen staff to abandon duties and applaud with customers whilst the restaurant is filled to the brim.... Oh and then add percussion using remaining available limbs... this is world standard musicianship! and I drove 2kms to see it!

hey conrad was fabulous to see you again , and letitia , it was a great gig and glad they managed to squeeze you in , i so wanna come check out that ramirez of yours, been way too long, thanks so much for making the effort to come to the show, its much appreciated to have other musicians there , next time bring a flamenco guitar and we' ll do some improvised over the top flamenco 'esque' duets, great seeing you.
