So who saw the Eagles last night at Soccer City?
I was there and it was epic! apart from the f**n bar closing so early.

Great show, excellent sound, parking sucked, it took 1,5 hours to get out of the parking lot, but overall well worth it.

Yes we wuz there and thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Even the shower to cool us down!!!
We were sitting a few rows from the front in the middle and the sound was brilliant, not sure what it sounded like at other locations in the Stadium.
I thought there would have been some discussion on the Forum regarding what guitars were played during the concert, but no.
So I thought I should maybe mention what I saw:-
Mr Walsh played some interesting guitars.
Music Man, Carvin and Duesenburg as well as the run of the mill Fenders and only a single Gibson.
As well as his Gibson acoustics I think.
Stuart Smith got some great tones out of a single pick-up Tele (an Esquire?) as well as his Music Man's and Strat.
Glenn Frey played Gibson Les Paul and a Tele as well as his Tak acoustics.
Don Henley played a Tele Custom it looked like and a normal Tele.
Please feel free to add to the list those who were there.
Being an Old Wrinklie, I thought they were absoloutley brilliant!!!!
A little birdie told me Mr Walsh strolled in to Marshall Music in Cape Town when they played down there and bought some gear!!!!!!!!!!

I saw them too - they were totally awesome.
I love the faces Joe pulled.
He has a seriously enviable collection of vintage guitars!
Gibson Goldtop, Gretsch, Tele woah..
Awesome stuff. They still have it!
