  • Voltage regulator - Rack based 1U

I'm looking for a voltage regulator for my rack. I've seen Furman models online for around R8k locally. Are there any cheaper options?

(I currently use a power 'conditioner' but after trying to play Bells Sundowner in Alberton on 190V I've decided I need to get a regulator)

Help with ideas to source one please?
Well the Furmans start at around 3.5K If you want something cheaper, look at the Samson units - much more affordable (starting under R1.5K retail last time I looked) and still decent.

      Thanks alan!

Are you certain a unit for R1500 can deliver 240V constant? Definitely a regulator?
Cos I bought my condiitioner for R1k a few years back. I'll be bummed if I could have got a regulator for just a little more
If you can create the circumstance that you want to guard against (190V like you mention), I would like to go there and try my Samson PS10. All I know is that I do not hear my electric fence on amps or recordings and I no longer have intermittent trouble with tone at the place where our band rehearses.
Bells Sundowners in Alberton has 190V for you to test!!!
