Is it possible to use a neodymium cab (or even better, just replace a regular speaker with a neo one) along with a regular amp? Or is a special neo driver needed?
Was very interested in some GK amps but the config I want isn't available here....

Treat as you would any other speaker. There are no special requirements, it's just a speaker with a different type of magnet, like alnico or ceramic.
