okay, I want to use my 100w combo amp as a monitor while my headunit and cabs face forward..what would be the best wat to do so?
Can I just use the output jack on the main amp, and run it into the input of the combo amp?

Line out from your main amp to the return on the "monitor" amp and your monitor amp will be "slaved" to the main. If you want the extra control from the preamp of your monitor, you can plug into the low input too and use the preamp controls in that, but if it's a coloured amp it will affect the tone.
