WGS Veteran 30's

Has anyone tried these out yet?

How would one go about importing a pair of these from the US without paying half an arm and a leg, they retail for around half the cost of the Celestion V30's and up to date I've read many good reviews. Essentially I'm looking at building a 2x12 clone copy of the Mesa but with the WGS rather than the Celestion V30's.

The WGS speakers are well regarded. However, shipping speakers from the US is so expensive that you might as well buy the real thing from takealot.co.za.

Have you checked out the http://www.myus.com/.com, don't know anything about their service short of stumbling across the website a week or two back

You can get Vintage 30's through Yebo electronics... and they about a 1k cheaper than importing it through takealot.com. here a link to Yebo's list they can get http://www.fort777.co.za/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_70_125_136_137_1103. I just got mine today and cant wait to hook them up.

I am however curious to hear your opinion about the Veteran 30's as I hear they are somewhat smoother in the mid range.
Which ever way you go speaker wise you'll most likely get what you are looking for. :dance:
