A mate of mine has a Laney VC100 combo tube amp in need of a good service and probably new valves however not entirely sure who to send this amp to in the Cape Town area. Amp appears problematic with volume peaks and drops so I would imagine it's in need of new valves and a good overall service. I've downloaded applicable diagrams and manuals and checked a couple of forums regarding valve options etc. Please point us in the right direction, I believe Graeme used to be the guy to go to but last I heard he's not servicing amps and whatnot this side anymore.

You could try Zenon George in Bellville. He does a lot of the valve amp repairs and servicing for Marshall Music and Musiek Wereld. PM me if you want his contact details. Alternatively you could leave it at one of those stores and they would get it to him.

If you are out towards Paarl side I would definitely go to Karel he does superb work. I worked on my buddy Arjun Menon's VC100 last week which pretty cool seeing as it has so many features. So it all depends which is closest to your friend. There might be more guys out this that should be able to help.
