@singemonkey ......i fully get the bigsby and might also want one on my tele .....BUT a rosewood fingerboard on a tele ???? mmmm no thanks every tele i've tried with a rosewood board ...sounded very unlike that characteristic tele tone i like.........
I'll confess that it's more aesthetics than anything else. Also, although Teles with rosewood boards may not be
as bright, they're certainly plenty twangy compared to other types. Also, my original Tele GAS came from Syd Barret's Esquire (although I wouldn't forgo a neck pickup).
Yep, I'll have me some of this plz:
Fond of Bigsby then Singe? But it is very lekker

Just one guitar...impossible! Ok..hypothetically then:
Les Paul type...not necessarily a Gibson, perhaps Hagstrom or Tokai
Vox AC30
Any top notch delay pedal to fatten the tone, create some chorus and obviously, nice delays.
guidothepimmp
Heart on my sleeve
Guit: charvel

yeah i love the vintage white and that bigsby ......and what is that Gibson amp it looks so yummy
but that roesewood neck ..mmmmmm i guess it's just i'm so used to seeing a tele with a maple board.............. it's the same as i guess how les paul fans feel about seeing a les paul with a maple neck ..........it just looks sooooooo wrong ....... well to me anyway
below is a pic of a gibson les pauls custom with maple neck .no photoshop this is the real deal it just looks so wrong .....
btw that tele looks iclose to the tele costafix has.............just his is in another colour but same fender branded bigsby and rosewood fretboard ..... and if i recall that same 70's logo .......

Well, I'm generally with you with the maple fretboard LPs - except that the ones in natural finishes look kinda good for some reason:
And I must admit, I saw some very tasty maple board Teles in vintage white with Bigsbys while I was looking for pictures.

The majority of guitarists here have chosen a guitar, amp, and FX that they've never played through, or never even heard in real life, in the world of internet imagination, fantasy & photographs, it's going to sound like heaven, in reality it will be on eBay after a few weeks. ?
Guitarists playing something for the rest of their lives...not on this planet. ?

So True Tokia, But here's mine anyways,
'52 Reissue Tele (Joe Barden Pups)

One model for life? No. Not a chance hey. Even a 59 gibbo will grow tiresome someday. But one brand for life.... Hell, why not.
Have a little looksee at the current PRS catalogue. From the 305 and the 513, the customs, studios, and hollowbodies, the sc58, starla and mira and cherry on the cake, the Angelus acoustic.
(If it wasn't PRS it would be Tokai. They do the classics, well most of them, brilliantly well - but where's the innovation?) Naah, even if I haven't played a PRS yet I am willing to put all my eggs in their basket.

easy for me, line6 all the way ?

Like so many guys have already stated.......one brand ???........ not likely!! So we play along.......
1. Guitars...... Fender Strat and a Tele .......
2. Amp ....... Marshall JVM 210 and 1960 4x12 cab.
3. Effects....... TC Electronic

Guitar: Gibson, will add a lot of models to my SG standard. And their accoustic are awesome too.
Amp: Marshall, I think they have a wide range of amps to suite all styles.
FX: Probabely Boss, again got a big range.

There's some discussion around amps and pedals to be had, but surely the axe to have for these purposes is the Firebird X?

Well I'll be happy to play my R6 Gibson Les Paul (with P90's) for a loooong long time.....such a versatile axe
Amps.....Vox AC30.... but my Fender Showman (with 2x12 cab) comes a close second
Fx: Boss multi Fx (for reverb and delay and overdrive)
MIKA-the-better-one
Firebord X ...... I dont know what gibson were thinking.........
Line 6 Variax, just the same thing, however its what Line 6 do so they dont know any better..........
Every once and awhile I see a post on one of the many forums I am on saying "I thought the variax would be a good idea, but now I want a real guitar)
Heath
guitar : fender highway
amp : vox ac30
fx : boss gt 10
think that covers pretty much everything , and maybe a gibson accoustic
Norman86
hmmm...
Im sure most people missed that its one brand of guitar, one brand of amp and one brand of pedals!
For me:
Guitar Brand: Fender
Amp Brand: Fender
Pedal Brand: no idea! Probably Boss!
Danny-B
Hmmm...
Guitar: Fender (I just love strats and teles too much)
Amps: Dr Z (having played on a few, they are my absolute faves)
Effects: Hmm...seriously tough. For over all, Cusack/Strymon. However, neither provide a POG or Whammy. Or a serious fuzz. And that is wrong.
