Yeah, as always, a very enjoyable evening at TJ's. Got to meet two new forumites, VellaJ and Stu, see three forumites in action and spend an evening having beer and a good chat, while listening to all sorts oif lekker music.
Here's some visual evidence:
X-rated Bob making Richard Thompson proud:
Stu and Cameron (is he a forumite? I don't think so but I could be wrong), doing a very good Foo Fighters:
And in my view, the star performer of the night, the one and only Squonk, laying down some excellent acoustic tapping:
Here's another one of him doing something to his guitar that's as unique as his style of composition. To those of you who haven't heard Squonk play yet, you had better make a plan. As unassuming as he may be, he's a very skilled guitarist and writes a very unique style of music.
Another thing that I also enjoy of these TJ's nights is that you always get to see and hear some interesting guitars as well. Here are two dudes, whose names I've forgotten, playing some Mississippi blues on a beautiful Fender FR-50CE resonator and an Ibby acoustic bass. The guy there on the bass was particularly enjoyable.
