Fender USA Deluxe Strat,G&L USA S500 or Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18

Hi Guys, I have the option of purchasing any one of these fine instruments. I started off needing a good valve amp that is versatile, so the Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister was on top of my list. Since then I tested out a Fender USA Deluxe Strat and I fell in love with it. It would be interesting to know what other people would like to purchase right now if you had a chance! Go for the amp.

I personally feel that American Deluxe models are not worth the money, and I don't have experience with G&L so can't say anything about that. All I know is from reviews I've read, USA G&L guitars are level with Fender custom shop models in terms of build quality.

Thanks for all the input guys. I really appreciate the help. I tested the G&L S500 at Turnkey and it is an amazing instrument. For me though I was more insync with the Fender Deluxe Strat ?. I guess thats just personal preference.
The Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister is taking so damn long to get to South Africa. Everytime i speak to the agents they push the date out further which sucks.

I voted for the G&L, but di only go for that if you already have a descent amp...

point to mention re the hughs and kettner tubemeister is that this gig ready 18w combo weighs in at a mere 9.4 kg so it;'s a working muso's dream amp .......18 w of tube tone which is sufficient for most gigs un mic'd and hell if it's not loud enough just mic it up .......... and it's light enough to carry the two blocks from where you could find parking and up the 30 stairs to get to the gig and still have a loud enough amp to compete with a drummer ........

just that portability and the power offered should be a huge plus in marketing this amp to the working /gigging muso ....has anybody tried to carry a marshall 4x12 stack up a flight of stairs or even a fender twin reverb just from your car to the venue ...even forget the stairs .. if you have .....you will value the benefit of the combination of light weight and good tone.....and power enough to work with live drums...... all at 9.4 kg

The Transatlantic is also a nice amp. The only drawbacks for me is that the TA15 does not have an effects loop and no reverb whilethe TA30 has all of this but it is way too loud for my purposes.
The Tubemeister on the other hand has an effects loop and you can switch to 1watt.

This is an all in one amp. All I would need is a decent reverb and delay pedal. I think Hughes and Kettner were very smart in designing this amp because the 1W,5W and 18W settings are very useful.
