This. I reject the notion that we should appease A-holes on the road by avoiding perfectly legal activities. If I drive at 120km/h in the fast lane, and some young, upwardly mobile advertising employee with a thing for German sedans and a lack of respect for his fellow citizens (it's almost inevitably the young white male in the German sedan) flashes his lights at me (feeling that I'm obliged to assist him in breaking the law and putting his fellow citizens at risk) I have no issue whatever in letting my foot off the gas.
Much in the same way in which I wouldn't tolerate someone pushing into my banking queue (and that's not even illegal) because the possibility exists that he might be a criminal without self-restraint.
StephenG, I'd avoid getting personal. Too many useful discussions end up eviscerated by the mods because the argument deteriorated.
