I am in the process of putting a new pedal board together (in fact, i am getting a whole new electric setup in the next few months.) so I wanted a bit of feedback or opinions on some good pedals that i can look at,
I've settled on my guitar and amp, thats a PRS SE 245 and a Blackstar HT20R, now for effects. I want to be able to use the pedal board both for electric and my looper acoustic stuff, and will be using it in a grunge / rock / atmospheric music sitution in my band and Church.

Some of the options that i am thinking of are the following:

Overdrive / Distortion - T-Rex Mudhoney or Digitech Hardwire Tube Overdrive
Delay - TC electronics Flashback delay or T-Rex Reptile II or MXR Carbon Copy
Chorus - Boss CH1
Rotary / Trem - Digitech Hardwire Trem / Rotory
Looper - Jamman or Boss Looper
Tuner - TC electronics Polytune.
Wah - Crybaby

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help in advance...
Not sure where you're buying from. So this could make my OD suggestion tough.
But i find my favorite OD on my board is my Full Drive II, tough to get here, but online is possible.

Delay: If you're playing in church, you'll be better off with the Nova Delay, you can't save presets on the flashback. So this eliminates having to tap in tempos for each song, which gets tough if you're starting it off.

Tuner: +1 for tc polytune, just make sure you have an isolated power supply, this pedal can put noise through your rig if it's on the same source as other pedals otherwise. ? I just got a TREX fuel tank chameleon to solve that problem.

Wah: play around, see what you like, but the crybaby is a safe bet.

If you're looking for a board, go to www.pedalfarm.co.za, site is almost up, but this guy full customises your board size, colour etc, for a great price!!

    Hope that helps ?
I think there are nicer chorus models too... Or just get the Nova delay that has added mudulation!
I already own the boss chorus, so thats why it's on the list. Anyone got a rough retail on the Nova then?
And yeah i forgot about a power supply, are the T-Rex ones good?
I'd buy from ebay, will work out around R1800-ish as opposed to R3k-ish here for the Nova.
I really like the TREX power supply, does 12v for my Nova too..

If you going for the Nova, your power supply must to 12v and have isolated power. Voodoo labs pedal power 2 does the job, BBE super charger and CIOKS supplies are great too. I went for the TREX chameleon because it does all that and looks cool at the same time ? plus, you can use it overseas with the input voltage switch.
Thanks. I am normally worried about buying stuff overseas, as you don't get local warranty (even though it is a crud load cheaper) Need to go play test a Nova then ?

The Voodoo labs is a good option a few people I know have those on their boards..
Overdrive / Distortion - T-Rex Mudhoney, one of the best drive pedals imo, covers a lot of ground and sounds grate while doing so.

Delay - the CC is a cool pedal, but the FB and Reptile II will serve you a lot better, longer delay times,
taptempo\strum tempo(can't remember the name, of the feature, but the FB allows you to strum in the required tempo)
The TC is more versatile and a lot cheaper then the reptile, but I'd go for the reptile, simply because I love the whole
DMM\semi tape delay sound it has going.

Rotary / Trem - Digitech Hardwire Trem / Rotory, cool pedal, flexible, sounds good.

              Tuner - TC electronics Polytune.

Wah - I use filters, so my opinion on this is kinda not what your looking for ?

If your going to do the ambient thing, I'd highly suggest that you get a reverb
? Hall of fame, would be a good choice, the t-rex tone bug reverb is also nice...
I think you should definately go for the MXR CARBON COPY ANALOG DELAY
It is one of the most awesome Analog Delays you'll ever find plus it is nice and small ?
