How good are the two Manchester teams looking? I know its early days, but I reckon the only team to challenge them for the title will be Chelsea. Being a United fan I am really enjoying the start to the season - four games, none of which were the easiest on paper and we have scored 18 goals already (Rooney has scored more than every other Premiership team apart from City so far ?). Its a pity that both Welbeck and Cleverley, products of the youth system have sustained injuries just when they're getting a run in the team, but Smalling has been a revlation at right back and Jones is the future captain of the club, possibly also England. Benfica midweek and Chelsea on Sunday... the big games just keep on coming!

This season will be all about who finishes 4th
Liverpool, Tottenham or Arsenal?
Man Utd will take it this year, Alex seems to have built yet another good team. City might have the players, but they dont have the team thing that United do so well. Chelsea will possibly be a bit better this season, but I am predicting 3rd.
Speaking of the young ones, Jones, Cleverley, and Welbeck, and dont forget Smalling, are just proof of how good the system is at United.
And I am not a United supporter. I started following in 1972 and I chose Derby County and have supported them ever since. At least we have some major records like "The Worst Team in the Premiership Ever" ?
Will be a great Season!

i know u said premier league but hell you seen the Saints in the championship...second only to Brighton ,,another good season although i really dont expect em to be in the hunt for promotion come may 2012.
the 2 manchester teams are in a different league these days ..... and Rooney is on fire..... i watched the bolton game ...it was clinical.
I prefer focussing on the other end of hte premier league these days , its more excitin g than watching united win again , last seasons relegation fight was incredible

Nope, nothing beats that! ?
Would be good to have the Saints back in the Prem - I am having flachbacks to the mid-90's now looking at the league table and seeing Norwich and QPR! Sutton, Goss, Ferdinand, all great players.
Its inevitable that City will win the league sometime soon - just like when Ambramovich took over Chelsea - but then its done through sheer 'bullying' for lack of a better word. But United, although there is no disputing that they do spend a lot of money in the transfer market have more of a team philosophy like Squonk said, whereas City are, for now, a bunch of individual superstars. Not sure how Mancini is going to keep them all happy, but when they can afford to loan out guys like Adebayor and Bellamy then you know that they have a super squad.

As a LIverpool fan, ya, we're going for 4th, if that. But the losses to Stoke(they draw with MANU, doing well so far) and Spurs >☹, well, yaaaa. But, I'd rather see Manu taking the legue than a big money club like Chelsea /Man city. I hate them.

Massive Arsenal fan here ... the less said about the season so far the better. At least we didn't spend 50m on Torres ?

Although he does look good this season, except for the miss against Man Utd. He currently has 2 goals in 2 games.
I still think he is going to make a lot of people eat their words!

Torres seems to have a self destructive tendancy - looks good against United, scores only his second goal in 20 odd games then misses an absolute sitter. Then against Swansea he scores a cracker before getting sent off for a stupid tackle...

My Dad was born in Chester just South of Liverpool so he is a die hard reds fan, so I shout for them too! Just taken to wearing his old Liverpool shirt and as they say, "You'll never walk alone" ?

Or when Gerrard dives in with one of his trademark two-footed lunges, "You'll never walk again" ?

SAints win again .....its getting very close to January 1st ...... if it can be maintained to 1 jan then i will start getting optimistic ....
last season in Div 2 (3) saints were barely in the top 10 come 15 december, a string of great results and by 1 jan they were serious contenders for promotion which was eventually achieved.
get past the xmas glut of games, maintain position ,,,,damn exciting times for us....
