TJs Acoustic Music Club - October 6th - X-rated Bob presents....

.... well I'm not going to tell you yet, but there will be at least one GFSAER (other than me, and other than Fingerpicker who, I'm glad to be able to report, will be manning the desk) up on the stage.

I got less time than usual to arrange this show, so the line-up is not finalised yet, but it's already looking promising and I have confidence that once again all those coming to listen to the music will get value far in excess of the R25 entrance fee.

But here's a couple of other things that somebody might like to stick up their hands for.

1) A tweet or just a blow by (short) blow account on GFSA. I've done these before, and there has been some interest, but I prefer to keep myself free for other tasks when I'm running the show. If you're interested then PM me please.

2) Photographs. Fancy yourself as a photographer? Think you can get some decent shots without resorting to flash (I know this can be done)? Willing to make your photos available to TJs (for their face book page) as well as have them splashed around on GFSA? PM me please.

Venue: Marks Park sports club, Judith Road, Emmarentia, Johannesburg, Earth, near Moon, Space, near More Space
Time: Music starts at 20:00, doors open at 19:30
Date: Thursday October 6th
Admission: R25

Drinks and pub meals can be ordered from Marks Park staff.

OK.... things are taking shape. Keira and Stratisfear are definitely on the bill. Also vocal group "No Principles" and guitarist Mike Rowe, usually seen playing with Wayne Coughlan or with his band Koko, but will be doing a solo set at TJ's.

Also on the bill Nechama Brodie. She's a singer/songwriter who has "graduated" from the open mic nights.

If I may say so, that is excellent value for a measly 25 South African bucks. I will probably do a couple of songs to break the ice before handing over to the stars of the show, and Fingerpicker will be doing the sound.

As usual if there's a show of interest then I can arrange a GFSA table.
