Hi all,

Looking to get a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2, once I've saved up enough moolah and/or sold a kidney.

Any suggestions on the cheapest place to buy one?

Marshall Music quoted me around R2000 (if I remember correctly).

I stay in Cape Town but am in Joburg regularly.

Marshall Music Cape Town are the importers, so they will be the cheapest on one of these. Maybe try asking for a bit of extra discount.

That rarely happens. Real nice when it does happen, but not worth holding your breath for one to pop up (chances are good you will go a very interesting shade of blue).

Good point actually. I have never seen one on gumtree. The classified section has had a few hasn't it?

If you know someone going to the US, you can get the BBE Supa Charger (which is 240V switchable) for around $130. Not as popular as the PP2, but does a fair job for most applications.

Just FYI, the BBE will likely be available in SA in the next month or so.

This here is exactly what I did. Ended up costing pretty spot on to 2K IIRC.
