So these are 2 VERY NICE pedal suppliers. I am an extreme pedal junky (ever since I sold my gt6 to purchase a ts808)

I was wondering if we have any forum members that have any pedals from either of these brands and if so what do you think of the pedals?
I personally have the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah which I picked up in Vegas which is SO good. On that note, does anyone know why you cant get Fulltone effects shipped to SA?

I am loving the following 2 pedals:
Fulltone OCD

Wampler Ecstasy (I rekon this might replace my TS808, it seems so smooth)

The Fulltone Plimsoul seems pretty sweet aswell.

Fulltone have an exclusive agreement with www.musictoyz.com as the only online store that will ship to Africa. All other online stores are prohibited from shipping to SA except Music Toyz. Which is also the reason why there is no SA distributor for Fulltone.
INteresting...have you ordered from Musictoyz before? I am always hesitant to order from new websites, have had a real bad experience trying to get something for my car online.

how nice is that ecstasy pedal ?
I have ordered from them once before. Generally a good experience.
From what i've seen and heard, i'm a big fan of the Wampler Pinnacle *drool*

Thanks Mr T, always wondered about that.

Shadow, the OCD and ecstasy are 2 pedals top of my want list too :yup: ecstasy is no1 ? but at $199 I've had to be patient for a while. Almost bought one when I was in London, but think it would've still been cheaper to get it from the US. Maybe I'll build up a > $400 order at PGS and get free shipping ?
Its sounds really good on demo's I've watched. They seem to be pretty unknown in these parts.

Oh and also I think if you subscribe to his newsletter you get discount on the $199. PM me if you are going to order one, we can maybe share shipping?

            veeerrrrry niiiiiice
@Arjun I must check that one out, Wampler seem to be pretty on it in terms of getting the tone.

@Kaydub, Yeh maybe we can, I just did a PGS order last month, ordered 3 pedals that made the 400$ mark. Had to return the Keely tho ☹ so waiting for a new one. I Must say tho, PGS are always so effecient. Love dealing with them. Well 2 ecstasy pedals makes 400$ ? ? hmmmmmmmmmm
Bought the OCD V4 through Take2 - who buys through Amazon - who buys through...
Don't really care, they took care of the red tape and I got my pedal.
Never bought through PGS, not yet anyway, but have only heard great things about their service.

I have a Peavey Valveking 112 (with V30) and I feel the amp does not justify the pedal (not going to sell it though ?). If you have a Fender-ish amp (clean channel) you'll get more value out of the OCD.

LP mode: Lower gain, slightly more transparent.
HP mode: Slightly higher gain, slight boost in higher frequencies.

Drive: Light drive for a slight OD sound. THe more you turn up the drive (along with the level) the more it heads into fuzzed-distortion territory and not so much distortion. Keep the level low, drive up and you have a higher transparent OD. Quite a versatile pedal imo.

Tone: To the left is bassy and would enhance the fuzz sound even more in conjunction with the drive knob. To the right is higher frequencies and I usually use that with the HP mode for a more Marshall-type sound.

For leads I turn the level up for a signal boost and turn the drive up to 10/11 'o clock. The drive just adds a bit of compression and smooths out my lead tone.

The reason I bought this pedal is of its transparency and overall dynamic response, wanted to retain the amps true sound - that and the fact that this pedal is great value for money imo - $135. Cheaper than a TS 808, true bypass etc. etc.
Video below would be the best example of that.

                Hope this helps. 8)

                  Here ya go

Oooh I like that. Lots of gain but you can still actually hear the guitar and amp.
