yes i can highly recommend murray kuuns work.....and yes i was at the verge of buying his 1st ever nylon he made........... it's amazing called the norma jean ........... but unlike many classical players i like a low action and light strings and the neck was set for a higher action and thicker strings , so we tried lowering the saddle but is was not sufficient for me...... so i lost out but while there i played every guitar he had from steel to nylon , and yes that moon and stars is awesome ..... his work is original as in he introduces new shapes into old designs but maintains the integrety of the instrument ........

if i had the cash( the work of his i want is not cheap ) murray would be a luthier i would want to make a nylon for me........ and hopefully oneday i will be able to afford his top end custom work

his guitars have a voice that will grab you cos like i said he maintains the traditional tones in modern design

+10000 to his work and no i'm not in any way affiliated to him in any way ... but as they say in hollywood, " i love his work"
He's a friend of a friend's dad, and she is always putting up pics of his latest work on Facebook - very impressive and some stunning electrics too

yaa I had a look at his Norma Jean a few years ago as well, when looking for a local to build an archtop for me.

      I like Le Petite lots.

Any idea what this range starts at price wise?

well i bumped into him at Bob's evening at TJ's on the 6th he was there in audience , and i asked re th price of the la petite , baroque size nylon .... and he said around 14K .......so he's not outpriced at all...

and i have seen his work up close and spent a few hours playing his guitars ........ they are gorgeously built and have good tone, he uses very thin tops so the guitaris loud and very responsive....... i did compare his work to some top end yamaha's and his work was way louder than any of them, i tried his norma jean range , and his moon and stars...... i am yet to play his petite and salon , oh and i saw a steel string jazz guitar he built and a steel string too , and of course he was in the the process of builing his compavt electric range which i saw as work in progress.........

a huge thumbs up for this designer /luthier he has some fresh idea for guitars NOT just building copies of larivee's or taylors worth the effort to go see his work , it's by appointment ....... if you keen on a custom made guitar
