Has anyone seen pedaltrain pedalboards locally?

Reinhard

Anyone?

aubs1

Do you mean to buy? Nope, they're not available locally, R, I got one from the US a few weeks ago.

killafo

I got mine from take2dvd.com with a hard case for about R2K delivery to my house, was worth it. Waited 3 weeks or so...

Mr-M

They are available locally, though I don't think you'll see them in any shops. True Sound Acoustics. I think they do sell direct to the public.

Aubs, would you mind if I ask you where you ordered from?

Thanks killafo, I found them on www.wantitall.co.za

Prices seem very expensive. Probably cheaper to import.

AlanRatcliffe

Wantitall often turn out a lot more expensive than they should.

Take2 have the PT2 hard case at about R2,5K or the soft case version for about R2K. Also, speak to Alec at True Sound - you might be pleasantly surprised.

Hey Reinhard, I got mine from "GuitarEffectsPedals.com", but you can get it from quite a few places like Sweetwater, etc ... all at $139.00

I got the "Pedaltrain 3" with Soft Case, (the PT2 is enough, but you never know) so just over R2K for the bigger board...

Reinhard

Thanks Aubs!
Was it 2k including shipping?
I want the pedaltrain Pro with gigbag.

AFAIR the total cost was about R2200. Here's the one I got:

Cool, thanks Aubs ?

Reinhard

I just got a pedaltrain pro off ebay with soft gigbag and a free 3-pedal riser. Shipping was a bit less than the online stores asked.
Now to wait for it ☹

Awesome man. That PT-Pro is massive ..... but hey, bigger is better heh?

Reinhard

It looks rather big and I have to fit about 10 pedals on it along with a channel switcher. So I thought it would be safer to go with the big one. The Neutriks also look like they will take up a bit more space. Also not a big upcharge for the bigger board.
Thanks for all the info Aubs!

NICE! been wanting a pedaltrain pro for a long time...maybe oneday.
guys post pics when you have installed your pedals, would love to see how the boards come out

Reinhard

Will do!
Total cost for a PT pro with gigbag (incl shipping) R2020. Not sure if there will be any duties. Would have cost even less if the Rand wasn't in the crapper of late.

Averatu

R2k for a pedal bracket???!!!! My wurd.

That's about right. I paid about R168.00 at the post office. So all in all, about R2200.

It comes everything Averatu, the nice bag, and enough velcro to stick pedals on twice.... Is it worth that amount, for me ....YES!!!!

So you pay R1k plus per pedal, you end up with at least 7, then you mount them on this overpriced contraption, all in all at least R9k. Is it insured?
