Hola Amigos!

Just a quick question - I have a 2x12 cab currently running two 8Ohm Vintage 30's
I still have my old greenbacks, and I was thinking of pairing a V30 and a greenback in the same cab...

The greenbacks are rated at 16Ohms each and as mentioned above the V30's are 8ohm speakers.

any suggestions as to how i would pair these in a cab (series or parallel) and what the final Ohmage would be?
Keeping in mind my amp has only 8ohm and 16ohm speaker outs...

Also, has anyone ever paired these 2 in the same cab - JP (my amp tech) recommends it, just wanna hear some outside opinions/ experience?

A great Sunday to you all ?

I would not recommend pairing a 16ohm with a 8ohm in one cabinet. In series that will add up to 24ohms and in parallel you get less than 5.33ohm.

How powerful is your amp; and how loud do you play?

amp is very powerful (50W plexi head) but try to keep the volume down as much as i can, save for gigs...
