Hi Guys,

I have an ashdown mag300 4x10 bass amp and has been running fine up until last week.

It suddenly blew a fuse and obviously stopped working right during a practice. I then replaced the fuses and switched it on and it blew again straight away.

I figured the guy at the hardware store game me the wrong fuse so I went and bought more, but one after the other the fuses blew.

I have a feeling this is a bigger issue then a bad fuse... haha

Any ideas?

What else is there left to do? Take it to a technician.

Or, alternatively, you can download the schematic, open up the amp and fault find the amp yourself. Trouble is that you then need to have some firm basic understanding of how the thing works, some tools and plenty of time on your hands. If you had all that, you wouldn't be asking questions here, right? ?
More seriously: this could be caused by quite a few different parts failing. No ways someone could tell you what's wrong this way...
Thanks guys, yeh haha i thought not but just thought maybe someone could lead me in the right direction.

I am a big fan of fixing things myself so might just download the schematic and get started. Google is an electrician or whatever you want it to be.....

        Thanks again.

        Cheers
