My real name is Charles Theron and I've been playing music basically my whole life! It all started when I was busy teething and my mother forched me into piano lessons... Little did I know her brutal method of force will one day turn into real passion and blisters on my fingers. I've been a pianist for about 15years, started playing percussion and drums at around 13, thereafter the guitar soon followed and then I found my calling....
My real love for music cought up with me about 7 years ago when I started incorporating drum rudiments on a bass guitar. That was it....
I know play a FENDER P BASS in a band called "Errand" we will start hitting the city soon with fresh catchy material.....
Thats me guys, and remember, as one wierd dude one time said; AIR GUITAR WHERE EVER YOU ARE!

Welcome Charles
Interesting - how are you incorporating your rudiments? Slap and pop, or do you mean between your right hand fingers?
And I firmly believe, if you can't do it on a P-bass, you can't do it. ?

Hi Alan
Mostly my right hand does the work, paradiddles, incorporating my drum fills into scales as if they were the tom drums etc. It might sound a bit harder than it really is!
You know its funny you should say that about the p-bass... I really enjoy the guit itself. I've used plenty active guitars but non of them give me what old faithfull does, its an all rounder, with great resale value.... gotta love it!

Welcome welcome! Condolences on the P-bass though... I'm sure a J will find it's way into your hands sooner or later ?
