I'm considering buying the LINE 6 POD HD 300 multi-effects processor.
Intend to use for gigging purposes, we do melodic / death / black metal stuff.
Any suggestions or experience in using this unit please let me know...

Good sounding unit, but if you need lots of effects on at the same time or an effects loop, you should be looking at the 400 or 500.
