Must say though I didn't enjoy the last Dacapitated (Carnival) as much as I wanted to. Is it me or was it a little lacklustre compared to their usual high standard? And there's something irritatingly trebly about the production. Was so looking forward to it too. Still ok though, in fact I shall listen to it right now woohoo!
I'm still enjoying it. Most reviewers did not like the vocal style, and likened it to deathcore, but I thought they where rather going for a more death grind feel a-la Constructdead/Deathbound. Its a very mature album to my ears, rather melancholy. I saw they where recently involved in a plane crash and cancelled all their tour plans.
